What is Botulinum Toxin?

Botulinum Toxin is a non-surgical treatment in Singapore that relaxes facial muscles to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture, and reduce the masseter (jaw) muscles. It is also a minimally invasive treatment that is used for shoulder and calf reduction, and sweat and odour reduction.

How does it work?

Botulinum Toxin A is a neuromodulator that is administered into targeted treatment areas using an ultra-fine needle. It functions by blocking nerve signals necessary for facial muscle contractions. In doing so, it reduces expression lines and wrinkles from these muscle contractions.

Once injected, the neuromodulator relaxes the muscles, reducing their movement and diminishing the appearance of lines or wrinkles in the treated area. The results gradually manifest over a few days following the injection.
